Half Day Charters (4-5 hours)

May & June $400.00 for 1 – 4 people

All passengers whether fishing or not are counted. US Coast Guard regulated maximum number of passengers – 6

Scenic & Historic Sightseeing Cruises

"Many people who come up the north shore never actually get to see it. To truly appreciate its beauty you need to get on the lake on a boat". (On the Road with Jason Davis aboard Tofte Charters August 2005).

Manitou Falls Cruise
(Limited availability)
Enjoy the famous Manitou Falls cruise that Jason Davis took and see the shore like you have never seen it before. Weather allowing we will slip in by shore to see the ship wreck Amboy, a schooner-barge that went aground and sank in one of the most historic storms known to the Great Lakes, the Mataafa Storm of 1905.

Note: Cruise rates are for the boat and 1 - 6 passengers.

Do you have more than 6 people that want to go? Do some in the group only want a short sight seeing cruise and not the fishing trip? We will work with you to create an experience that will satisfy everyone. Luckily good fishing can usually be found a short distance from the dock, so travel time isn´t much of a factor.

Here are a couple popular options:

  • Split a charter, returning to the dock half way through the trip to drop off the first crew and pick up the second. $25 charge for each return trip to the dock. (We recommend a full day charter for this option)
  • Take the sight seeing crew out for a quick ride before or after the fishing trip.
